Blinds Raglan — Custom Made for Coastal Living
Raglan is one of New Zealand's most iconic coastal towns — and the homes here are as unique as the town itself. Beach houses, converted spaces, architect-designed homes, and everything in between. Window coverings in Raglan need to work hard — handling coastal light, salt air, and often some seriously beautiful views that you don't want to cover unnecessarily.
We're Blinds Design and we service Raglan from our Hamilton base. We come to you — no showroom visit needed.

Coastal considerations — what we recommend for Raglan homes
Coastal homes have specific needs that inland homes don't. Salt air can be harder on certain materials — we'll always advise on the most durable options for your specific location within Raglan. Sunscreen roller blinds are particularly popular here because they dramatically reduce glare and UV without blocking the ocean views that make Raglan homes so special. Outdoor blinds for decks are also a standout choice — Raglan's wind can make outdoor spaces unusable without shelter, and motorised outdoor blinds let you respond to changing conditions with one tap.
Holiday homes and baches
Raglan has a significant number of holiday homes and baches — and motorised blinds are a particularly good fit for these. Control your blinds remotely when you're not there, automate them for security, and arrive to a home that's ready for you without having to think about it.
