Taupō lakeside homes — managing light and glare
Homes with lake views face a particular challenge — the light reflecting off Lake Taupō can create significant glare, especially in the afternoons. Sunscreen roller blinds are our most recommended solution for these homes — they dramatically reduce glare and UV while preserving the view that makes a lakeside home so special. We'll advise on the right openness percentage for your specific aspect and outlook during your measure and quote.
Thermal performance in Taupō
Taupō winters are cold — and the temperature drop at altitude makes thermal performance a real consideration. Honeycomb blinds are our standout recommendation for Taupō homes where winter warmth is a priority. Their cellular structure creates multiple insulating air pockets that keep heat in during winter and the heat of summer out — more effectively than any other blind type available.
Holiday homes and investment properties
Taupō has a large holiday home market and motorised blinds are a particularly popular choice for these properties. Control your blinds remotely between visits, automate them for security while the property is empty, and arrive to a home that's already set up exactly how you want it.
One person, start to finish
The same person visits your Taupō home, measures every window, gives you your quote, and returns to install everything professionally. No handoffs, no strangers, no surprises.
